CATEGORY is a monthly queer house and techno party in Downtown Los Angeles. Every volume has its own theme, an invitation guests interpret through what they wear, and every lineup is 100% femme, BIPOC, gender expansive, and/or queer-identifying. CATEGORY launched in August 2026 with Vol. 001: Precious Metals and rings in 2027 with Vol. 004: Decadence, New Year's Eve at The Belasco. CATEGORY is produced by Category Events LLC.
