What is CATEGORY?
CATEGORY
Not just another queer party
Something new every time. A fresh theme. An opportunity each month to be someone new.
Representation is our guiding principle.
Our lineups consist entirely of femme, BIPOC, gender expansive, and/or queer-identifying talent: local artists making the most noise in LA, and international headliners you've been dying to see.
We craft experiences designed not just to entertain you, but to look like you, move like you, and feel like you.
At the center of it all: you
Not a version of you that fits the mold.
The real one.
The one that's loud or quiet, polished or raw, questioning or certain, dressed to the nines or dressed like you invented the rules. Serve a look, get your photo snapped by our resident editorial photographer.
There's no wrong way to show up, but there are all kinds of right ways to turn up and turn it out.
CATEGORY is for all of it. You are the moment.
@categoryparty On the grid
Were you there? Find yourself.
Every volume lands on our grid first: the recap film, the vibe, the shoot. Follow along, and tag @categoryparty for a chance to make the next photo drop.
See you soon, gorgeous
This is your safe space. Your refuge. Your place to let it all out.
We can't wait to see what you wear.
